The Most Heartfelt Candid Wedding Photography Moments of 2024

Every year, I look forward to creating this post; the one where I step back from the posed portraits and picture-perfect details and simply reflect on the real moments that made this season unforgettable. These candid images are the heartbeat of every wedding I photograph. They’re unscripted, unpolished, and completely filled with emotion. And they remind me, over and over again, why I do what I do. So here they are, my most favourite candid wedding photography moments of the year.

In 2024, I had the honour of documenting weddings across Switzerland, and beyond. From a tearful hug in the middle of the Alps to epic dance floors, these images weren’t staged or planned; they simply happened. And in their rawness, they became some of my most favourite photos.

These moments often unfold quietly. A proud parent adjusting a veil, a glance shared between siblings, a group of friends laughing in the soft evening light. They’re the moments that couples don’t always see on the day, but feel deeply when they look back at their gallery. And for me, capturing them is such a privilege.

I always tell my couples: the story of your wedding isn’t just in the big moments, but in the little ones, too. The in-between. The unexpected. The beautifully imperfect. That’s where the magic lives.

As I look back on this past year, I feel incredibly grateful for every couple who trusted me to photograph their wedding with honesty and intention. These images are a reflection of your joy, your connection, and the once-in-a-lifetime energy of your day.
