There’s something unforgettable about a Zermatt destination wedding. Truly breathtaking view in every direction! For H and D, their summer celebration at Cervo Zermatt perfectly captured that balance of relaxed elegance and natural beauty. Their weekend unfolded with laughter, heartfelt moments, and some mixed weather of course!
A Weekend Celebration in the Alps
The festivities began on Friday evening with a warm welcome party, where friends and family gathered on Cervo’s terrace. The air buzzed with excitement as glasses clinked and the Matterhorn glowed in the distance. The couple created welcome packages for their friends and family who travelled all the way to Switzerland to help them celebrate.

Saturday: Rain, Then Sunshine
Saturday morning started out rainy, a soft, steady drizzle that lingered for a few hours. But the timing couldn’t have been better. Just before the ceremony, the rain stopped, the sky cleared. H and D had their ceremony outdoors, surrounded by their closest people. The light after the rain was beautiful, and everyone was just so happy the weather had turned around.
The Celebration
The rest of the day flowed so naturally. From the relaxed drinks reception to dinner and everything inbetween, it felt like exactly what a wedding weekend in Zermatt should be. Good food, great company, and moments that felt real and unposed.
