One of my main motivators behind creating this ebook was the topic of mobile presets. There are constantly new mobile presets being released and marketed all over the online space. While many of these presets do look amazing (and I’m sure they are!) the greatest asset is your knowledge and understanding of: light, composition and editing. If you take a photo of you and your partner, for example, on a sunny beach, in the snowy mountains, or inside your living room then the light will be drastically different in all of these three images. Therefore, the preset will look entirely on all of these images as well. If you do not know what you want to change in your photo, you will not be able to get the result that you want. I have received so many questions and comments from friends over mobile presets and how they never seem to work in the way that they want.

WHY DID I MAKE THIS?

When I first started playing around with editing my mobile photos and finding my style, I quickly realized that changing a few main things were drastically improving my images. This, in combination with understanding light and composition make a huge difference and are things that can be improved rather quickly. I was also seeing so many mobile presets out there, where often times you’re just not really sure what is being changed in your image, and most importantly, why.
So instead of everyone else having this same struggle, I created this simple, easy to understand, and effective ebook so you can really take control over your mobile images.
What do you have to do when it’s sunny vs when it’s snowy? What type of light is the best? How does light impact your image and your editing? What is the difference between indoor and outdoor light? Why should I purchase this ebook and not mobile presets? This is something that I get asked a lot. And it is also one of my main motivators behind creating this ebook. Will I need any special equipment or software? You will need to download the Lightroom Photo & Video Editor which is a free app available in the App Store. While you can edit directly on your mobile phone, Lightroom is a more powerful editing app and I will use specific examples and screenshots from there in the ebook.
Can I get the guide in a physical book format? The guide is only available in digital ebook format, which can be downloaded immediately after purchase. However, the guide will be accessible on any device that can read PDF files, so you can read it on your phone, tablet or computer.
